It's back!
Starting Monday February 18,2013....Tim Horton's annual promotion... RRRoll Up The Rim To Win... has returned!
For the next few weeks or so, when you purchase a hot beverage at any participating Tim Horton's coffee/bake shop location in Canada or the U.S. (Small, Medium, Large or X-Large sizes)...it will be served to you in the contest cup...you simply "roll up the rim" to see if you are the winner of one of the millions of prizes being offered ranging from free coffee or donuts to a brand new 2013 Toyota RAV4!
I, like many millions, have participated in this annual ritual for many years. For me, it's lots of coffee, tea and French Vanilla drinks consumed during the contest period. I have also won many free coffees and donuts too...but never a prize bigger than that.
So this year, just for fun, I am going to attempt to track how many hot beverages I will consume during the contest period...and, if any, how many prizes I win...through setting up a simple spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet (see picture below) will contain a few simple columns...the date the drink was bought (or winning free coffee tab redeemed), time of purchase (there will be multiple purchases made in a day), the size of the cup and the prize won. The majority of the prize entries will show "PPA" which means Please Play Again...this is not a winning cup... and many of us are familiar with those three words during the contest!
I will be sharing the updated spreadsheet with you all here on the blog daily; I will simply update the included picture of the spreadsheet below everyday. It will be updated at different times every day, so check back at this blog often if you want to follow!
Sometimes I will include the results of others who will also be consuming Tim Horton's hot beverages (OTHER'S RESULT column)...and later I may track the location of where I purchased/redeemed a drink.
So good luck to you all and let the games begin. Don't forget to RRRoll Up The Rim To Win!
Update: March 6---Haven't updated in a while--no wins since February 24--one beverage purchase minimum each day since then! Now just providing update for month of March!
